Honestly, can you imagine the fallout from something similar happening to SHY?
I’m not suggesting that they do.
They obviously don’t.
My issue, is with the likely double standard in terms of response to the behaviour of the protester.
If a member of the public was to slam a beverage or an egg over the head of as I said, a Sarah Hanson Young type figure, do you genuinely believe outlets such as The Guardian would be applauding that behaviour as an positive and effective means of protest?
I for one doubt it.
You either condemn aggressive physical contact between politicians and the public, or you don’t.
If you can’t see the slippery slope the normalisation of such behaviour is liable to lead us down, that’s a real shame.
This ought to be a bi-partisan issue.
HY is a parliamentary politician. Yaxley Lennon represents the street thug movement.
It’s the sand pit he plays in. As shown by his reaction. He can’t cry and ask for police protection when he gets a milkshake thrown on him.
Anning? He’s happy to surround himself with neo nazi and white nationalist thugs who are violent.

And if you think he simply represents the ‘street thug’ element of the British public....I think you grossly under estimate his appeal to working class Briton’s im afraid.
As opposed to violent anti-white resentment. He’s not representing class politics.
He’s appealing solely to violent racial resentment. It’s just below the surface, as the swinging showed.

Oh and you made the leap to nazis for Yaxley Lennon, not me.

It's interesting that you appear to consistently exhibit a keen observational capacity when it comes to the political agendas of others, and yet you also appear to be blissfully unaware of it's existence in yourself.
Psilocybe cubensis will be appearing on the landscape in the upcoming weeks. I suggest you spend a day hunting them.
Makes sense.Yes. What of it?
How astute.Makes sense.
A common characteristic amongst the far left.
He's much smarter than this crap, he's just stuck in it at the moment.
I don't know where you stand. Maybe you might never escape it.
This gets explained away via the 'slippery slope fallacy' with no credence to it actually being likely and beginning to actually happen.Hence why I asked him why he pretends to be ignorant.
Where I stand?
If we allow violence toward politicians, or political candidates, to be normalised within our political process, even the smashing of milkshakes over people, then the bar slowly gets lower and lower, until people start murdering people in the street.

Trans-racialism / trans-speciesism is a perfect example.

I can see that you're a big issues person.
Not only do I support the hurling of milkshakes, I recommend it as a voting mechanism.
It’s the fact we both know, the act would elicit outrage, rather than celebration, amongst the left if it was one of there people being aggressively slimed in public.
