I would suggest it doesn’t make too much difference given neither Rotham/Edwards is going to play.

Not sure if you saw the interview with Olli Wines standing next to Tex. Wines was the same height (+/-) there is a resason Masten gets belted and cannot hold a tackle. Its called 2019

Given he’s come in for Masten it’s pretty safe to assume he’s in to play that role and not play up forward. Waterman is known for his running ability.

Venables is also 20yo and Masten 30.

While Masten gets more touches Venables averages more contested possessions, tackles and clearances. If we are wanting to be better at the contest Venables is clearly the better choice.
