Such strikes will usually be classified at a higher level
commensurate with the nature and extent of the risk of serious injury involved."............except for when they rule that this doesnt actually apply...

Doesn’t matter. It’s twice he’s done the same identical thing. Clearly has an issue with swinging raised arms around carelessly and someone needs to stop it before he collects a players jaw. Punish the action not the outcome..

the North guy was trying to avoid contact to continue his run. Gaz literally changed direction to block him and subsequently elbowed him in the head. It's definitely intentional contact but will probably be insufficient force.

Amazed that when G Ablett Jr is involved, intent doesn't matter. For anyone else, leave the ground and throw and elbow regardless of the magnitude of contact would result in suspension.

There still has to be enough force to warrant a suspension. Otherwise guys will be getting done left right and center
