I'd go a step further than that, and theorise that his forward craft has gotten worse since his first season or two, because he's discovered that continually calling for the ball over the back, and looking to body up on a defender and get a free kick, rather than providing a lead, or crashing a pack is a much easier way to get goals ... work smarter, not harder.

Very possible, his method of scoring changed big time from the start till now.

Game style and list both deficient. I predicted them as maybe scraping into the eight but just as likely missing. And their game style will see them thumped in a final so it doesn’t really matter much either way.

We're definitely more frustrating. Essendon being crap is actually quite enjoyable.

I respect the guy. Made a boat load of money, won a GF and played a big role in it

It's got nothing to do with the 6 6 6. Coaches for 150 years taught attack, now all they coach is defence.

There's only 1 solution and that's to take numbers off the field so it's harder to attack.
