Discussion Unique/rare guernsey combinations

This is pretty sweet. This Richmond guernsey was never used in an official game but got a run in a practice match against Carlton in 2004. It's the same template as the silver-top taxis guernsey used next year for the Wizard Cup, but yellow instead of grey.

Here's another one - the Dogs playing the Saints in a NAB Challenge game from 2006. The Dogs only had one game in the NAB Cup before they were knocked out - against Melbourne - and one would assume this pre-season jumper was too clashy to wear against the Dees, hence we never saw it

A bit similar to one posted before - through 2000 the Saints wore the hot cross bun with white shorts, even for home games (before that became our away uniform in 2002). Round 8 - Saints at home, but in the white shorts and Adelaide in away with navy shorts.View attachment 666323
Kmart on the Saints shorts? I’ve never seen that before, did this last a while?

Still think it could’ve been white rather than grey and been a pretty good clash jumper.

And we could wear red shorts with our red jumper, and have three strips.
Is there a reason Essendon haven't just gone with the Richmond style inverse strip, red base and black sash? Is there something significant about the sash itself being red?

Did you know that the Essendon Football Club has a constitution of which states that every guernsey that represents the club until forever ends MUST have a red sash?

I didn't even know that clubs could have constitutions.
