Non Lions Discussion 2019

That's a horrible decision by the MRO. It's even later than last week yet he doesn't even apply a fine. AFL should appeal that if they had any real desire to stamp out punches and elbows
In Gaz’s case he changed his line to apply a block (intentional) and went high with the elbow raised.
It may have been low impact but that is not the point.
If it was anyone but Gaz that would have been a week.
Fyfe’s was at least in the contest so you could argue that it was careless!

Quite a disgraceful decision. Fyfe’s I can live with but Gaz would be gone if he was any other player.

There was no way that wasn’t intentional- the ball was clearly gone, ablett changed direction and lifted the elbow.
And people wonder why Ablett gets booed.

The MRP should assess incidents as if it were Mitch Robinson.....then we would see more suspensions.

Like father like son

Can't tell if Bulldogs or GWS won that trade.
GWS got pick 6 (don't know who he turned into) and Griffen (Who barely played for them due to injury)
Bulldogs got Boyd (who hasn't really done anything, however got the Norm smith and took a huge chunk of salary cap)

6 was Marchbank. Pretty big win for the dogs that trade.

Boyd didn't get the norm - though definitely should have.

Bulldogs won. They got a flag. Pick 6 was one of the guys that got punted in a cap discharge (Pickett?) after SOS's "brilliant" drafting.

It's a surprisingly long story. They used that pick for Marchbank. He got bundled up with a couple other SOSpuds and traded for Geelong's future first and some late picks. GWS traded the first for Deledio. We wound up with it after a pick swap and used it on Bailey.

Seems like it isn't being treated the same as buddy from what I've read. Bit weird!

Boyd - $7m for seven years.
Franklin - $10m for nine years.

Bulldogs - don't have count Boyd's contract if he quits.
Swans - TRADE BAN!
