I don't know, lots of madness around the country.
Your comment suggests you are

???

My comment was pointing out you made up a definition of "left".

For a long time in Australia the left wing party was deeply fundamentally racist for example.

And how did you come up to that conclusion.

Ummm, mate, it isn't a "conclusion" - it is history, actual fact.

Do you know how the Australian Labor Party was formed? And any of its history?

Youre ranting illogically to gain some upper hand.

I'm not really interested in your socio political essay.
Let your lecturer grade it.

Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

It isn't stupid to not know something.

It is really stupid behaviour not to even want to acknowledge you don't know something.

You're really dumb mate, like, really stupid.

The White Australia Policy was designed, supported and implemented, well into the 20th Century, by the Labor Party and the unions.

So that makes them Right wing now does it.

Super logical.

You are so transparent.
Not salty with election result.
Now I've heard everything.
And it took you four days to come up with that chess move.

Sigh, it means that you just made up your definition of the Left, as I said you did.

Also, here's a hint for life: don't say stuff like "salty", it makes you sound like a 12 year old.

No, I don't.

Is someone in North Fitzroy who has rich parents who bought them a house crapping on endless about gender identity and how we should all be called they/theirs and voted Green "left"? To you it seems so.

Is the person working in a coal mine in central Queensland, is a member of the CFMEU and voted United Australia Party because they are concerned about their job "left'?

The second person has been far more representative of the "Left" in Australia for a lot longer.

You don't get cards for this stuff mate, you get cards for mentioning the fact that Essendon got done for drug cheating on the main board.

Trivialising the coalition's victory and attributing it to Clive palmer, is wrong.

This is all the ALPs mess. Not Clive Palmer's
ALP with Greens
ALP with Unions
Greens against Adani/coal industry.
Unions against Greens
Unions for and against, who the * knows.
Central Qld farmers vote national.

ALP trying to steal seats with climate change policy, appealing to the inner city hipsters you alluded to.
A subtle and token play for gender inequality with wage gap increases to child care sector.
Taking from the rich, apparently and giving to the poor? Franked credits.

This is the contemporary left.

The campaign's should have just been as simple as this;

ALP * the rich
LNP * the poor
Greens * the system.
ON * Off we are full.
UAP * you all.

I am a diversity-supporting lefty who

*believes in segregation and enslavement and the creation of a permanent underclass and 'untouchable' caste system to isolate the Hawthorn Football Club and many of its supporters from normal Australians (exemptions case-by-case only)
*opposes equality of outcome by insisting my club be an absolute meritocracy regarding players
*a hegemony of one (Geelong) all-powerful team and then the pitiful 'others' who will just make up the numbers somehow while we kick cricket scores against them

Left used to mean progressive and free thinking.
Today it's a pitch fork outlet for those with first world problems to vent their personal resentments and internal issues and project blame toward other people, places and things.

That’s people who like triggering, not so much idealistic

That's not "lefty".

It's the Sensible Centre.

The AFL is largely merit based. If you’re out of form or just not up to scratch, you don’t get a game. Period.

The left wants to put people in power who may not necessarily be qualified but apparently deserve to be purely because of their skin color to satisfy the “diversity” criteria.

So if you’re left leaning, you really should stop following AFL.

In actuality, many left-leaning dickheads in this board don’t actually follow football and only post ******** on SRP. I don’t even know why they’re here seeing as this is supposed to be a website about footy.

Shouldn't this be on the special snowflake board?

I relate more to the left than the right and am all for merit based everything...

So, your title has me confused. Plenty of reasonable lefties. Plenty of reasonable righties. Plenty of unreasonable assholes on both sides.

But the AFL is heavily socialised and regulated.

The entire system is based around a plethora of equalization measures.

Im not sure Princes Park got the memo.
