I agree Chris Grant for us. With Marcus Bontempelli to pass him sooner than people realise. Has already won two b&f and one in a premiership year. Has been great for 6 years now. Even last year he was slightly off but still better than most.
I agree Bont isnt far away now.

Very hard to argue with those nominations. Some debates could be:

Pendlebury vs Buckley
Hodge vs Mitchell vs Buddy
Ablett vs Scarlet
Stynes vs Nietz
Wanganeen vs Tredrea
Richardson vs Martin
Harvey vs Riewoltd
Grant vs Johnson
Cousins vs many from the 1992 1994 flags

If you include the players like Lockett, Dunstall, Daicos, it becomes a lot more difficult.

Was Dunstall better in the eighties or nineties?

Obviously a great player across both decades but I would have his 90's ahead. Higher goal average in an inferior team, was a leader in the 90's, his highest goal tally (145 goals) came in 1992, as did his runner up in the Brownlow.

Only commenting on Richmond ,
Martin might over take Richo , but I'd say not there yet
Richo often in a weaker side 800 goals , often topped the league for contested marks , and many of those were real contested pack marks

Richo is easily Richmond’s greatest player of the last 25 years, miles above anyone else
