Delisted Jack Mayo

I also thought Hibberd, with Pickett as another possible, but with the likely loss of McCartin due to complications of concussion, another medium tall forward is a good option. Hibberd would have provided good speed and more strength on the outside and Pickett shows versatility off the half back and through the midfield.

Paddy is done with football ..more important his friends stay close , sounds in really dark space
Will need a lot of support and not left alone for mine

27 and likely won't play this year.

Did we really want to throw our pick at a guy that will be looking to debut at 28?
Richmond will likely be right up there again next year and can have a look at his work rate over the next few months before making a decision on him.

Already its obvious that the draft is being used in a way other than the AFL intended it.
He'll be a depth player for Richmond in 2020.
( they probably wouldn't have got him with their late rookie pick in the 2020 rookie draft ).

Yeah I agree - shouldn't yoke about his name although I have some good oil that the acid test for Mayo will be how well he mixes with his new team mates. Boom boom boom!!!!

That said - he was one of only two players the Hawks were genuinely interested in - with both gone they choose to pass.

Enough of the puns. We should be concentrating on the important issues. Like what song will be played after he kicks his first goal.

Will it be Harry Bellafonte MAYO! MAYO! Daylight come and I want to go home.
Or Peter Allan I go to Mayo, County Mayo

He does seem a likely prospect and don't mind the look of him at all
But can't help but wonder what Richmond saw in Marlion Pickett at 13
That we didn't see at pick 6?
Anyhoo it's done now so welcome young Jack and with that surname
he's bound to become a cult hero!
May he put Sauce for the Saints for many years to come! :stkilda:

Cause he’s 27 years old and he just had surgery to repair a broken finger that will put him out of action for 8-10 weeks.

Just watched the interview on the website. Gee he speaks well for a 19yo, seems to have a very good head in his shoulders. Intelligent, well,-spoken, calm... if he can football then I think we have a leader on our hands.

Absolutely agree with everything lewdogs said above, he comes across as such a collected individual.

I love the welcome he got from the club.

It must have been amazing seeing his name “up in lights”.
Here’s hoping we’ve picked up a really good one, he sounds really promising.
