Hasnt everyone else been wearing coloured shorts v Swans this year?

Nobody has worn white shorts away to Sydney this year.

Two teams have worn white away to Gold Coast - Brisbane in clash and Geelong in Indigenous.

If its an AFL directive, its a clear deviation even from this years policy.

I just hope the property steward accidentally packed the wrong shorts.

Have to remember that the Eagles kit manager isn't probably thinking about various combinations of shirts and shorts from all 9 matches each week all year.

In reality, this is probably what went down.

In Round 6 (vs Geelong away) in a game where we normally wear full royal, the club would have been told to wear white shorts (because of Geelong wanting to wear navy shorts at home). As this is a deviation from what has happened before, the club did and kept a memory of "always white shorts away"

Come Round 12, we do the same thing again without really thinking why.

There isn't really another explanation for it, since West Coast have always worn full royal away vs Sydney, and teams have worn full home against Sydney for the majority of matches.

Also, for the table that shows what teams wore away to Sydney.

Surely the Stadium "Sydney Showground Stadium" would be better off as "Stadium Australia" as a differentiation to Sydney Showgrounds which is the home stadium of GWS.
That is a bit misleading!
What does this database call the *actual* Sydney Showground Stadium (aka Spotless/GIANTS Stadium)?
