He's probably their best key defender when he went down.

However, maybe as a direct result, his absence has forced the next tier to raise their game. They aren't really missing him as much as they probably initially expected.

No difference to Jacobs earlier injury. It allowed ROB to get a game and now he's keeping him out. Going fwd a much better outcome.

It's used as an argument against all our players... they're developed through reserves and not gifted games and it's apparently a knock on them even when they get there shot and show better than someone gifted 50 of the first 60 odd games..

I'd take any of Modra, McLeod, Ricciuto and D.Jarman over Riewoldt or Rance. Then there's Dangerfield and the massively underrated Goodwin who would at least be worth a thought.
