Could see a large cut of our reserves.

Mutimer, Mallen, Ah Chee, Brayshaw, Nelson, Smith would all be considered for delisting. Who knows where Masten is at.

Exxon and Foley are young and saved by contracts.

Brander, Williams, Brooksby and Cameron look decent.

Considered doesn't necessarily mean they will be. Just out of contract and in the mix

Nelson has been on the list 5 years and isn't best 22.
Brayshaw is a late draft pick that was a long shot and still looks like he has a way to go before cracking a game if he even gets that far.

Not sure why you highlighted the other 2.

I do not have the stats but noted that a significant number of his disposals ended up in a turnover. Whether it was his or the next disposal, same outcome.

I watched the game and took interest to see if he could do more but he didn't. And it wasn't as if he was coming out of heavy traffic when he was kicking.
It was the kicking for goal that disappointed me, one missing from around 30m on an angle and the other not making the distance on a slight angle from around 45m. He wasn't alone, but it would have shown great leadership to sink those goals coming at crucial time.

I was surprised to read his kicking efficiency as I thought he missed the target quite a bit. May have just been last quarter?

The team goal kicking efficiency lost them the game from probably the third week. Just from set shots the contrast between us and Claremont where some of their players almost guaranteed to missed in the past slotted them and we missed, was stark!

They took their time, concentrated, kicked straight and followed through, just the basics really which I'm sure their 80 year old kicking coach Percy Johnson (who was on the ground in the breaks) has emphasised!

Half back players Luke Foley and full back Brody Riach this week gives an idea of how inexperienced, small and undermanned the B's will be tomorrow:oops:

Some good midfield numbers today at least. Allen pushing for a debut again which is encouraging.

There's gotta be something the coaches don't like about his game for him to not have gotten a look yet. Otherwise it's really puzzling because much less deserving players have gotten a run ahead of him.

With Hurn, Yeo, NN, Barrass and Venables all due back after the bye, MAllen faces a huge challenge to get a game.

Gut feel is his papers are already marked like Partington and Adamson were in previous years.

Mind you neither of them have made it back on to an AFL list since so shows we made the right call to ditch them.

Partington couldn't make the state SANFL side which recently played against WA so he can't be showing much.

Nominated for the mid season draft and was overlooked by everyone also

Shouldn't and wouldn't have signed him on for this year if they didn't see something to work with.

He only switched to a mid last year, so they probably wanted to give him one last look.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained

Good on you Marsden. Can't knock the bloke for doing exactly as he should playing WAFL. Also 5 tackles is encouraging.

Better from Allen this week, and Brayshaw decent too.

Brooksby 22 touches, 8 tackles, and 48 hitouts should once again make a case to come in for Vardy. Assuming Simpson wakes up.
