Harrison Pepper currently having a very good second quarter as country dominate the allies.

One error on an attempted switch (but i like his thought process), but other than that has had 7 or 8 very telling possessions as country repelled allies and move the ball up the ground to score.

Vic country just making the allies look very ordinary today.

Pepper good again in the 3rd quarter. Is having a solid game, while some of the bigger names in his team soak up the flashiness.

Be interesting to see how country match up against WA and SA

Downie is probably the classiest prospect we have. He is a bottom ager playing in a metro squad that is being really poorly coached.

Yes he was rotated out - but he went and played a blinder for Eastern. So he’s doing fine.

At this stage a late pick if we remain interested, but they like the kid, they particularly like the genuine improvement AND his ability under pressure as well as consistancy.

Disappeared as a bottom ager.

But had his best game of the year yesterday. First sign, imo, that he is comfortable at the level.

Technically it works. You only record a disposal stat if you make a legal disposal. He could have possessed the ball 17 times but got caught HTB and so recorded one less disposal than possessions.

No. You've got it around the wrong way. 17 possessions, 16 disposals. Got the ball 17 times, but only legally disposed it 16 of those times.

Almost. If you win a free kick you are awarded a contested possession. If a team mate takes advantage or takes the free kick you don’t get a disposal.
