What could have been. Talent to burn but little drive / motivation.

Horrible run of injuries also.

If we had of done this before mid season draft could we have picked up another player or was Deluca because of Pickett on the LTI list anyway?

Shame never saw the best of him at AFL level,.he had some serious talent.

High risk / high reward scenario that didn't work out. We've had a few busts like that over the rebuild unfortunately. Really disappointed because Pickett was one with so much ability. Small forwards will definitely be a priority at the end of the year.

Real shame that he couldn’t put it all together. Plenty of talent and the spot was his to take.
Still remember the Hawthorn game where he opened them up and we had a glimpse of what he might become.
A little sad but not every story gets its happy ending.

As per my avatar, always thought he could become a vital part of our future success but it wasn't to be, best of luck to him going forward. Interesting none of our ITK posters got wind of this one must've been a very recent decision perhaps part of the internal 'Review' going on at the moment. Onwards and upwards to #17

Not surprised. Never had the commitment to be an afl player. People will blame injuries but being constantly unfit results in injuries. A could have been type of player that was never going to be unfortunatley.

Tom Bugg left pre-season and made way for Cottrell i believe.

It's a shame that it didn't work out for Jarrod at Carlton.
