Haha yeah lots of good young talent, hopefully we can develop them right and make them elite.

Doesn't have a tank on him yet, you could see he was tired and slowing down considerably in the 4th quarter, but the talent is there. Give him this summer to improve his aerobic capacity and we'll have a real impact player on our hands.

I really liked his game today. Some of those quick handballs and the deep, penetrating pass to S Gray were highlights. Plus puts his body on the line as a given.

Based on that I’ll say Dylan Clarke will get the nod this week

Clarke did tag Cripps. Kept him to 11 disposals (9 handballs). Cripps has been looking worn down for a couple of weeks now by carrying Carlton's midfield, but that was still a big effort.

That was Clarke's first game of the year, usually they will give the gong to a player who has a form line. Stack would go close this week.

Butters had a great game ... But it is Dylan Clarke for me. Sensational game from him!

I don’t reckon they will give it to a kid who’s team is going into the bye... too hard to navigate the media commitments with the players on leave let alone probably still out of the country.

Zak will get the nod later in the year though, guaranteed!

To be honest, the one I was least concerned about out of the kids was Butters.

Looks really happy around the club and even when playing.

Let’s hope Rozee and Duursma sign on and no other club come with $$$
