Hey guys,

First time in Perth this weekend, how does everyone usually get in to Optus? I am in the north eastern suburbs and doesnt seem like a train is nearby. Do people catch Uber’s or drive in? Where do people park

Btw your city is confusing haha, heaps of highways here. Good city though

Catch train in.
What suburb exactly? Uber cannot drop you at stadium, big fine applies. Would have to walk either from Glouchester Park or Crown casino. Train is your best bet

Hi Guys, I’m attending my first game at Optus due to moving interstate a few years ago. Really excited about going to game tomorrow, hopefully the weather clears..
I’m not a member so can I just turn up tomorrow and purchase a ticket or will I need to purchase one online ?
Thanks..
Definitely purchase online. There’s queue for tickets then a queue to get in. Save that time and just buy on your phone. Saves so much hassle and time

North east...near Morley Bus Station at all? Park your car at the shopping centre for free and catch the stadium bus

Taxis can drop at stadium. Dedicated taxi zone. Ubers not allowed though.

Season defining game, our best this season has been really good.

Do we get mentioned along with gws. Eagles, Adelaide and co for rest of season or lumped in a fight with bombers, port, tigers, hawks etc

North east might be a train from Midland line or bus from Mirrabooka, Morley or Ellenbrook.

Or drive to the Rosemount Hotel in North Perth. Park your car and have a pint. Then another. Then catch the bus to the stadium. Watch the game. Leave at the end and back to the pub for a commiseratory beer before driving home.

If we couldn’t beat you there last year, I’d suggest a fairly heavy defeat is coming our way today.

... We basically have an overweight teenager in the ruck, a slightly undersized backline with AP out, with two KPF’s who struggle to put on scoreboard pressure which has been a concern even when we win games.

Anyone’s game!

Congratulations on playing 50 games today Connor. :thumbsu: It's been a couple of tough years so lets show him a bit of love!

(Have had trouble finding a Connor Blakely thread to bump and posted this somewhere on this thread in "Player Watch" but it's not showing so will post here in meantime)

Blakely, who will today play his 50th AFL game when Fremantle battle Port Adelaide at Optus Stadium, admitted to dark thoughts when he almost tore his hamstring off the bone in the pre-season. It came after he had missed the second half of last season following knee surgery.

I have no idea how this match will go, but I think it is fairly crucial to our chances of playing finals. We need this and Carlton in a fortnight to be much chance. By then Logue and Shill may have settled in (fingers crossed) and Sandi could even be on the horizon.

I am hoping for any kind of win.
