This thread has coincided perfectly with my mid-life crisis ( partly exacerbated by our form over the past few seasons)
So I spent the day buying up the necessary bike gear, in readiness for getting my bike license this week after 30 yrs of not riding.
Now just need to work out what bike to get.
Narrowed it down to 3
Honda CB500X
BMW G310 GS
Ducati Scrambler Sixty2
Any feedback welcome, and yes, I hope to be around for a while yet!

#1 : Did you know that middle aged men are the second greatest statistic (after teenage boys) to have accidents on motorbikes
#2: Pay for a proper and full Stay Upright course(s) or similar - before you buy a bike - you may decided it isn't for you.
#3: What you want as a learner - is a bike with lots of 'bottom end' and a linear power delivery
