All the old heads stood up when they should have. You could see the younger brigade taking heart that there was a safety net and thrived off it. Confidence is the key to our group and that was a MASSIVE boost.

(a) Another interstate trip will keep galvanizing our boys as a group, particularly the younger players (irrespective of result)
(b) Gives our valued WA supporters some reward for being a Blue (hope they can get to the game and see the future developing)
(c) Gives Crippa a rest from the hard surface, and thus challenges our on-ball brigade to do some heavy lifting (hopefully makes them realise what it's gonna take to win a few in the remaining 8 or so games)
(d) SPS and Fisher remind Eagles/Freo supporters what they missed out on (these 2 will be looking to put on a show)
(e) Hell....no-ones expecting us to win away, yet we get a Freo not at their strongest (Teague will take it as a free hit.....see what happens. Could snare an unbelievable win, and begin that desperate climb off the bottom and leapfrog a team or 4)."

The ability to read the play and put himself in the right spot by Daisy, and the absolute guts and leadership of Murphy to take responsibility to have the shot and nail it, that was absolute determination & all class. There were so many players that lifted today, it's one of the Gutsiest wins I've ever seen at the club.
