Interesting stats from the tracker.
Casboult hit the top speed for the game at 33.5km/hr, with Jack third on 31.7km/hr.

Meanwhile, Setterfield was third for distance covered at high speed with 2.5km.

Not names you’d expect to see at the top of the charts.

can't be right - levi couldn't go that fast on a motorbike........

Kennedy really surprised me. Didn’t even know he was a good kick.
Half forward/middle for me. Think he had a rep as a reliable kick for goal at GWS.

From memory he came top 5 in the goal kicking at his draft combine

Also think he did well on beep test and vertical leap

Could be our Caddy; play hff/medium fwd and provide a some relief as a bigger body in the middle when Cripps rests.

Bit of mongrel too which is always welcome

The Freo autopsy is interesting reading....apparently Margetts won it for us. Not one mention of the 40 push in the back frees Kruezer should have got though.
Grudging respect for ED and Murph's game and 'that Walsh kid is a ripper'

Oh and they have their 6 best out through injury, but we have only two. Apparently they have never heard of Doc or Cunners...
Like Most in the west very insular.

I can name 6 - 10 posters that regularly appear after losses that have been deadset mute since murph's banana sunday......
Bizarro...

Am watching the replay. Now into the last quarter. Can someone please explain to me what possible justification there might remotely be for McGovern, having been awarded a free quick, 15-20 metres out from goal, to then play on and kick a point? I increasingly suspect that he has a fatal attraction to “spectacularity” which, in his case, frequently doesn’t come off. Do you think that subconsciously he is trying to be better than his brother who is clearly better than him?
Something is off here. An astute coach, with a good understanding of psychology, needs to take him under his wing and correct his tendency to self destructive grandiosity.

Probably just a rush of blood to the head. Charlie almost did himself out of a goal the other week from a similar range -- took a step as if to play on before realising there were about three opposition players almost in touching distance.

Not that I care much for the Adelaide trade but if we finish 15th and they finish 7th-8th it's all of a sudden not looking so bad. 7 pick downgrade isn't a big deal at all.

Melb, GC, StK games all must-wins. Causing an upset on any of the others would be very, very handy.
Wow if only someone had explained that earlier we wouldn't have had people going off half baked...

Paddy Dow. What a total stuff up in our forward half that lead immediately to a turnover goal to Freo to take them to 69 versus 54. He could easily have lost us the game. Someone teach him some poise, please.

He'll learn that himself with a few more games under his belt..
Was there anything you liked??

you could probably use one yourself for similar reasons.........

Forget the ad hominem attack, for which you have a lot of form.
You defending the way McGovern plays are you? You are comfortable with it are you?
I put it to you your presence here is for no other reason than to offend and irritate - that your claims of support for our mighty club are disingenuous to say the least - and that the sole reason you drove your uncle to that isolated farm was with the intention of murdering him and disposing of his body - what say you to these allegations made here on this first day of july in the year of our lord two thousand and nineteen?

What is really good about Murph's goal is that he was at the ruck contest on 50 & despite it having been a torrid game of footy, he still had the run at 30+ minutes in the last quarter to get into a position to receive from Fish.

He actually got the initial soccer forward to Gibbons who got the lofted soccer towards Casboult, so he had to keep reading the unfolding play to find space in the right spot. It was very intuitive.
