Has anyone had an ingrown toenail?

Wow its painful. Caught it on my pants this morning and blood everywhere. Worse than getting my teeth knocked out.

I went into my local GP for a fungal infection on the nail a while back, he took one look at the other foot and basically went "here's some bricks for you to swallow" as the pills were ginormous, apparently to get rid of the ingrown nail.

50/50 split, as nail is good but fungal is back, so yeah, bloody painful both having it and trying to swallow horse pills to get rid of it. Bloody hormone pills are deadly man.

I will say however, nothing beats having your teeth ground back with a dental grinder so they can be capped. Can't numb you, I literally broke his chair in an attempt to tear off the armrest as dear god the pain. Have 2 molars pulled and they numbed and it just felt like a splinter being removed, the issue is how you go with tasting blood, similar to getting wisdoms removed in which mine are fine, but unfortunately I'm used to mucus and blood so my issue was the cotton buds to allow the gum to heal kinda made my mouth drier than usual.

Recessive genes are s**t.

Get it fixed properly.

Once the cut opens, it never heals.

Or if you're a DIY type...

They say politics is Hollywood for ugly people, she's not the best but a long way from the worst.

I have a thing for Jacqui Lambie, she's a crap politician and i'd never vote for her, but i think she'd be fun at a party.
Not sure if i meet her criteria though.

Yeah, got it cut out, it then grew back way worse. After about 2 months I realised it wasn't going to come out on its own so I went to the docs and they sent me to a specialist that made me wait 7 weeks to get it done. I used to cram my sock with tissues to help with the bleeding and give some extra padding. Knocking my shoes on anything would almost bring me to tears.

Yep I remember that.

Had to go to Cabrini and under general anaesthetic. Cut it right back to the root.

She did an interview on a small Tas radio station where her lack of a partner was discussed, her criteria for a bloke was that he be well hung and could shut up, some 18 year old rang up and volunteered his services, from memory Jackie said she'd think about it, is that he criteria you were thinking of?

I'm not good with anything medical, I'm now going to live in a state of extreme hypochondria about ingrown toenails.

Mate I got a third right ,, SS got the rest, can't help but wonder could it have been an one other than Jackie that would say it publicly and would a politician from any other country get away with it?

If Bill Clinton was honest , we'd know what he likes.

Tore my big toenail out myself. Blood and pus everywhere. The relief was greater than the pain of the ingrown toenail.

Predictably, it got infected and while my GP complimented me on getting all of the nail out, I ended up having corrective surgery, intravenous antibiotics for two weeks and a long and slow recovery. I was actually lucky to keep the little piggy that went to market. The risk of amputation put me off DIY surgery for good.

What gets my goat....

item 225:
recently on Facebook there was a competition run by the AFL for budding photographers to win the opportunity to spend a game shaddowing an AFL professional photographer for an upcoming game to gain experiance and learn from a professional.. now that sounds great until you read the fine print...
to enter the competiotions the AFL want amature photographers to shoot photos depicting "grassroot footy" again nothing to bad there until you read the next bit where ALL photos submitted remain property of the AFL regardless of if they win or not and the AFL hold the rights to use any submitted photos for comercial or promotional purposes as they see fit ...
that is dodgy as f... so basically the AFL are getting potentially 1000s of photos for their advertising for free with the only cost being alowwing one person the opportunity to sit next to a professional ... this is taking directly from the pockets of professionals who would normaly sell images to the AFL .. thats a pretty low act..
as a amateur photographer myself (check me out on insta @sttravphotography )this is the stuff that drive a wedge between us amateurs and the professionals and would catch many unsuspecting photographers out who havent read the fine print ...

moral of the story ...
Read the fine print

Read the fine print

So much this, as an addition, yes, when you contact the promoter requiring explanation on what is contained in the fine print, we do think lesser of you, as you at that point have effectively signed over any right you had previously and if we wished to be arseholes we could plaster that globally. You then cracking the sads that you never bothered to read the fine print and acting the violated party is utter hilarity and further affirms that you should probably not breed as you'll likely aim for the wrong hole first.

Fine print exists for a reason, as do shiny baubles that catch the eye, gain some patience and ability to read English before signing over a soul.
