My thoughts exactly. For all we know, Orazio may request a trade to Port when he is in his late twenties and has achieved all he can with us (multiple premierships hopefully).

If he did want to go, that wouldnt be enough for us in my opinion. Hes contracted til the end of 2021 so we would have the upper hand in negotiations. We've got a bit of youth on the list, and i would actually prefer an established player while Hooker and Hurley have still got footy in them. Wines straight swap seems about right. But Raz wants to stay so doesnt matter.

They do have an upper hand when the player is still under contract. Carlton with bryce gibbs and Geelong with Tim Kelly are examples from last trade period. If Essendon arent satisfied, they just play Fantasia til the end of his contract in 2021. Then after that if he still wants to go via free agency we take the compo pick.
