Trying to think what our pressing needs are atm, maybe skillful mid with speed?
Top of list should be national recruiting and list managers, Ogilvie and Reid not up to the task.
2010-2018 drafted 31 players.
Five 48-95 games and two over 100 games. Lever (56), Cameron (73) and McGovern(48) not included in the 7.
Are those numbers acceptable?

To be fair..if SOS had the pick positions ogilvie and rendell etc had had..would he even be able to field an AFL standard team..we think not

You are looking at it backwards. They can only recruit the players. Its up to the football department to develop and select them.

Lets include Cameron, Lever and McGovern , I mean we did draft them. 10/31 . Thats a good 50+ game group when the average is 1/4

That’s pure spin...those three wanted out and for for good reasons.

Suggest you do some research, most successful draft picks (long playing careers) fall in the mid 20’s - 50’s.
You misunderstand us..anyone can pick better players with a million 1st round picks..SOS would be utterly lost having to source top end talent outside the 1st round like our list managers have had to do...now run along

No spin at all. Its not about wanting out or staying

Hamish identified 3 players that played 50+ games. Or does that not fit your troll?

You do know we had a very harsh 2 year draft sanction and had to aggressively trade out Vince (our B&F entering his prime) in one of those year to get M.Crouch. We've shown we can compete with the best of the contenders this year but it those quarter and half of total s**t footy that has cost us the game. Our list and player developer is excellent, don't worry.

We need a big solid one on one defender, who can we get?

On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app

I really like this guy but he might be a stretch at our pick.

8. FISCHER MCASEY

Clubs:
Sandringham Dragons/Vic Metro

Position: Key Defender

Size: 195cm, 86kg

Bio: McAsey was one of a number of players who pushed their draft credentials during the Under 18 Championships, intercepting at will in the defensive half of the ground. The key defender averaged 6.5 marks during the carnival as he locked down his spot as the best tall in the draft pool. McAsey has the ability to play up forward, but his strong work in the air down back means it will be the position AFL recruiters will likely be expecting him to play at the next level.

Yeah, players can still be crap and play 50 games in a bottom of the ladder team like yours.

Heck, we even let them play >200 sometimes.

i believe you!

Selection is based on the ladder end of season..not where club or supporter would prefer.
Obviously your club prefers to pick early, which is why you have such a s**t list manager who only brings in rejects. It is one long tanking exercise.

So, it's 10 from 31. Considering is almost physically impossible for players who have only been in the league for three years to have played 59 games, we have to eliminate them. That makes it 10 from 21.

To have an almost 50% hit rate would have to be the best in the AFL, by far. Ogilvie and Reid are fantastic.

On the other hand ...

Your team has delisted 54 players since the end of 2015. That is historically sh|t, which should be your club slogan.

Anyone else got the feeling that GC will get a priority pick this year? The AFL will think it's the perfect opportunity because they won't be hurting a struggling team holding pick 2 (assuming it falls that way).

You don't think the AFL watched the garbage the team served up in the showdown..we are struggling make no mistake

I do have that feeling that both Gold Coast and Carlton will get a priority pick although none deserve any.
