Ellis has good moments when you think wow he is actually an important part of our side. and then he will kill us with turnovers, fumbles, dropped marks, hospital handpasses and missed tackles when we can least afford
The one thing about him for his strengths and weaknesses
He’s reliable

If Jack and Caddy are back maybe Rioli & Bolton are in trouble, Edwards needs to stay forward and our smalls haven't been great scorers all year, its time to bite the bullet and have George, Stack, Lambert and Edwards as the permanent smalls going into the finals

In: Riewoldt, Caddy
Out: Rioli, Bolton

If Egg-smith does gets dropped I'd rather Garthwaite return and help Broad out with Himmelberg or Finlayson, they're far too talented for Broad.

B: Vlastuin, Astbury, Broad
HB: Houli, Grimes, Short
C: Ellis, Prestia, Mcintosh
HF: Lambert, Riewoldt, Edwards
F: Stack, Lynch, Caddy
Fol: Soldo, Cotchin, Martin
I/C: Graham, Castagna, Egg-Smith, Chol

Lol he played shedda half back through necessity. Hes constantly said he is looking forward to having him forward of centre when we get players back, which we now have. Moving him back was a masterstroke at the time.

Firmed up was at the time a very shaky looking outfit.

Grimes isnt big in the body enough for cameron, but he does have the speed so this will be interesting.
kelly and cameron are the 2 we need to stop, cameron played on us last time as a roaming forward being too quick for astbury and far too good and experienced for garth, balta types. maybe if graham can restrict kelly and our other mids can break even and use it well is our best chance with dave/broad/grimes waxing jezza and concede cameron will get 4 ... but lynch can be as effective the other end to balance it up with jackR back and being our joker. we WILL b warm favorites so no excuses if we are serious with our finals campaign.

If Bolton is dropped for Caddy ,who has been underwhelming this year and is a plodder in the midfield, then no-one at Richmond has cause to complain if he decides to leave at the end of the year. You dick around someone with his talent after a performance like yesterdays you do it at your own peril. Frankly we'd deserve to lose him.

Like conca but better

Things I learnt this weekend:
- Tigers supporters somehow are ropable about a 92 point thrashing of a team that were being praised for their improvement this year
- Shai Bolton is a very good, clean midfielder
- There are more Richmond supporters in the Gold Coast than Suns supporters

School holidays helped. Good scheduling from the AFL. Most of the 16k who showed up would have been Tigers, masking deeper problems have with their Gold Coast “franchise”
