Not really, it's a pretty big deal if what you did has blown an investigation. If that's what happened.
Not sure what you're saying. Do you think he's facing criminal charges for an oversight that you say often happens and was removed from the investigation over that.

I don't think he's the sort of cop to illegally record phone conversations for no reason. Was it simple oversight for these criminal charges ... or did he have his application to record conversations denied and he went ahead anyway because he was convinced the conversations were essential to solve the case?

I'm curious what happened and hope this case comes up in court before the Inquest resumes.

It was sly recordings when he spoke to people? Read in another article, there were complaints from his team that he was telling them to do the same thing. There's a lot of charges I'm not sure we've got the whole story yet.

Interesting that he wasn't within his rights as a police officer to record those interviews. I wonder if it's just the case that he didn't tell him they were being recorded? As you say, something's not right.

EDIT: Of course it could be my hobby horse of misreporting, which is more likely.

Looks like it, absent a warrant I think they're supposed to ask permission or tell the person they're recording the conversation. Maybe he's been caught out using the information he gathered while covertly recording and the other party has freaked out when they've realised it's on tape. Their sense of protection/confidentiality for information given in good faith is gone and it could leave them horribly exposed, so if that was the scenario Jubelin probably should be in a lot of trouble.

So any further news of the case? Have they new POI's or same old same old?

One other POI did some jail time on other charges. TJ

Bios know this person who was in scrap metal. The bio GM also it appears flirted with white goods recycle etc. It is a cash game. Another POI was in white goods recycle.

Some of them moved from another region to this region. The whitegoods mobbed shifted from one area to another.

"His criminal history includes assaulting children and women, escaping from police custody, theft and drug possession.
Jones was under the microscope of NSW Police Strike Force Rosann in relation to the disappearance of William, whose abduction in 2014 sparked one of the biggest manhunts in Australian history."

Id say one POI has met William in the past

The whitegoods network probably knew William was coming inadvertently when foster grandma rang to get her machine fixed?

They may need to speak to TJ's ex Mrs about the cars parked next door. Coincidence looked like Pauls car. I think cancer man is dead now.

Which one of them likes boys? Although a legal eagle told me recently that they have to have illicit images to share to see more illicit images, not to mention the cash they make out of the pictures.

It concerns me Khandalyce (Baby in a suitcase) might have had pictures taken and abused in Canberra while Karlie was lured up to Belanglo. What an insidious evil world. Crossed four states in a matter of weeks, more than likely drug trafficking. Kharlie and her daughter used as props with plates that hold no criminal record. Kharlie had like $100000+ in her bank account, an ABN that was milked by tow people impersonating her at the bank with Khandalyce.

Seek a warrant from a judge more like it with reasonable grounds. Maybe the conversation places were too dynamic for the process of investigation. Jubelin put the child's safety above the law, even if it meant the evidence were inadmissible in court. Is a child's safety above the law?

Jubelin cast a wide net. Maybe someone was worried some big fish would be inadvertently caught? Someone didn't like Jubelins unorthodox method, and they didn't like his work ethic.

When you look at the LawyerX case, shouldn't a child's safety be above the process of law? Could Jubelin test his obligation to the child over the law?

Isn't that the ultimate outcome? Find the child?

No and no. He's a cop whose job it is to uphold the law in the promotion of a safe, secure and orderly society. He might have risked not just the investigation and successful prosecution of the offender but another kid goes missing and nobody wants to talk to any of the cops again because they can't be trusted to play by the rules.

The priority is to find the child. If the law gets in the road of that...

If the law gets in the road of saving a child...

So people don't want to talk to the cops about saving a child?

The child was likely targeted by pedophiles because the pedophiles knew the law would hinder the investigation, the victim being a foster child.

The law made this vulnerable child targeted as a victim. How's that.

Without knowing the exact details and we might never, the rules are there for a reason and Jubelin should know what they are. Further, he should know how to get around them to preserve the integrity of the investigation and his team.

Into the realms of speculation. A cop with a work rate better than many is forced out of the police force.

There is a reason Jubelin was put on the biggest hardest case in the nation where the law had hindered the investigation from the start. This case was unsolvable.

Is this what we are going to hear? The law has not only put a child at risk, but killed a child by hindering an investigation?

Has William died because the law based on foster children stopped the investigation? Who is compensated for that? Oh, helllloooo....

The people that didn't give two fecks about the child? Welcome to Australian law, where the criminals are rewarded and the cops are sacked.

Child comes first - prosecution comes second

Chances are, under FACs legislation, the public are not privileged to the goings on. For all we know, William has been found and shunted off to a safe house. The irony that one POI was involved in autism activities. Autistic children are one of the largest target demographic of pedophiles.

This is no random POI. This person is very learned in the realms of child exploitation. He knows the law.

If we learned anything from the Lawyer X sagas, it's that ruthless rule breaking dishonest cops get promoted to senior positions while the rest who joined for the right reasons don't go far or get thrown under a bus. They end up breaking so many rules we end up with a Royal Commission and eventual costs with the capacity to bankrupt the state.

Jubelin may well have compromised the entire investigation to the point it is now unsolvable with no hope of of a successful prosecution.

If it was a group of paedophiles that took William, he will not be their last victim.

Reality Melsy, most children abducted by a paedophile have been killed within a couple of hours of being taken unfortunately.

So an officer presumes the child is dead. What happens when they find out the investigation put the child at risk. The child is killed because of the investigation. Does everyone shrug their shoulders, we got our man...

We can't have the law killing children over a prosecution. The child becomes a victim of the process.

Prosecution can be found other ways. As it turns out, one POI has already served a prison term after the event. He was put in prison for something else.

What is it about Jubelin actually being charged and the probability of why that you don't understand?

The heat of a police investigation is why the child is killed and disposed of so quickly.

Lets see if Jubelin is convicted. What has Jubelin been charged with?

I want you to be mindful, we are nearly six years down the track, without a body, without a conviction. We have no outcome. We have a case waning into nothingness.

Instead, we have an officer who has an excellent repore with solving hard cases charged. What an outcome.

A vulnerable abused child is gone.

The law is testing some very grey areas. Lets see how this pans out.

So, his misconduct charges pertain to having his mobile phone recording without a warrant recording someone that we don't know who it was.

And he has complaints he is working his staff too hard.

The NSW detective who led the investigation into the disappearance of William Tyrrell has been charged with misconduct offences.

Key points:
  • Detective Gary Jubelin is charged over allegedly recording someone without a warrant
  • He resigned last month and his lawyer says he will now "strongly defend" the charges
  • He led investigations into high-profile cases including the disappearance of William Tyrrell and murder of Matthew Leveson

Gary Jubelin last month announced he was quitting the police force over allegations he used his mobile phone to record someone without a warrant, and a number of staff management complaints.

A departmental investigation is now underway into other allegations of misconduct.

Thats what I love about government departments. People now backstab their way to the top. It is a world of integrity.
