3 strikes for a suspension rule?

The system is broken in many ways and one of the main faults is it focuses more about what impact it had on the other player rather than the action itself.

Sling tackle someone to the ground and they hit their head and get knocked out, it's a week off. Sling tackle someone to ground but they are ok and it's just a fine.

Neither should be acceptable.
Just on the sling tackle the Luke Ryan one on Cameron was the softest yet he actually placed him on the ground was staggered to see a free kick paid and then the muppet Christian piles on with a 1k fine

He dumped him and then chicken winged him after

Had the potential to be a lot worse both for the slam and torque of the arm when he was on the ground

Don't think you can call it a chicken wing didn't take the arm past vertical if anything stopped prior. Will concede Cameron was vulnerable but clearly landed on his shoulder . When MRP judge purely on the outcome of the act how was this a fine.
PS firmly in your corner over the nicnat one a while back where player could have put an arm down but chose not too. Tigers had a player suspended for a tackle on Robbie gray where gray chose not to put his arm down as well

He had his arms pinned behind his back leaving cameron with no way to protect himself . The action of the sling tackle was worth a free .

Think the fine was for the wrenching of the arm after .

The fact cameron is such a light weight makes it look worse . Not that that should come into it at all .

For once, Cunnington actually being harshly done here (think he's got lucky this year a couple of times). CLEARLY hits the ball first and then the arm slides vertically, 150% not a strike in anyway.

Gary Lyon the tosser was doing his best to get him suspended.

Essendon squib should be done for staging.

Targeting the soft/sensitive spot such as the cheekbone in a man from behind? Are you serious? Vickery coward punched him in a ruck contest!
You're right, punching an unsuspecting played in the gut for no reason is in no way a cowardly thing to do. The only thing cunnington did wrong was not punching him in the nits i stead, that would have put Gresham down for even longer.

i reckon hall should have been suspended for the 04 grand final personally. What weaker act is there than a gut punch to someone who isn't looking?
The biggest and most blatant example of corruption in the history of our game. It bugs me to this day and will continue to do so indefinitely.

Fancy a Richmond supporter wanting a suspension after X amount of fines.

Brought in after Fyfe got suspended for something minor, scrapped after it almost cost Cotchin a spot in the GF when they could have fined him but couldn't because they already fined him twice.

I agree with you.

But we just had to play our inspirational premiership captain when he was cleared under the rules that all teams played under at the time. Meanwhile... power stance.
