So the difference between a man and a woman was once pretty well defined. As was the legal discrimination between the two (women only waxing, etc)
Now if we want to allow people to identify as any gender they want, fair enough in a progressive society I suppose. But the assumptions of what constitutes gender rooted in our examples of legal gender discrimination need also to be re assessed. A waxing salon should now be able to re frame their exclusivity to only "clients without penises". Or, if we want to go full Post-Modern, they should be able to reject any client that they, the proprietor, identify as being male, given that we have now thrown out the relevance of objective criteria.

Kind of my thoughts. But that deals with the service provider's comfort in this transaction. What if we consider for a minute that Yaniv is genuinely distressed by a man doing this job, or having to go to a men's establishment for this transaction?
I guess Yaniv is part of a minority that is still small enough to not warrant a specialised service in the market. (I doubt that is the case here though) I do sympathise, but then again this isn't like not having a wheelchair access to a building or anything. There are plenty of establishments that will do a back sack and crack, and she should probably take her business there.
