CALLING OUT ALL TRUE NORTH SUPPORTERS ! ! !

Don't know wether people on here are aware, but Barnaby Joyce is really struggling after the last election.

Renumerated well as a minister but now in no man's land sitting on the desolate back-bench his $212,000 a year wage ( + side benefits ) is not enough for him to survive supporting 1 ex wife, 1 new wife and 5 children.
He is down to 1 coffee a day and not dining out amongst a long list of previously affordable luxury's.

Please.......if you have $cash to spare
consider not yourself and your gas bill or little Tommy's new footy boots,
think of someone in need who is down and out after serving his country admirably for a long period.

You can p.m. with your bank details and cheques made out to Hojuman will be forwarded.
just had a chat with my dog Brutus and he has agreed to share his meals with me for the next month. the savings we will make will go straight to poor Barnaby. lets hope everyone gets behind the #savebarnabyfrompoverty campaign.

Truely one of Australia,s great battlers, its a pity that sloppy joe put an end to "the age of entitlement" .

A reminder that there's still a handful of sane people out there.

But not many

An outraged Perth mother says her young daughter was humiliated after she was singled out for wearing the wrong colour underwear to a junior netball match, which cost her team the game.
In the latest example of junior sporting rules pushed to the extreme, an under-13s girls’ team was quizzed about the colour of their underwear at several points during a game at the weekend after a parent from the opposing team spotted a player wearing black and white undergarments instead of the required plain black.
..........at the end of the game — which had resulted in a draw — the opposing team were declared the winners.

All those idiots with arts degrees have to be employed somewhere.

People want the government to shape the world in their own personal image and now they are reaping what they have sown.

ABC NEWS:

The Federal Government has confirmed it had an agreement with Crown Casinos to fast-track short stay visa applications for Chinese visitors.

Un-be-leave-able.

Sums up what is wrong in the world.

Federal crossbenchers have lashed out at "morally corrupt" politicians who are not heeding calls for a more powerful commission to investigate corruption amid concerns a new inquiry into Crown Resorts will be too weak.
Tasmanian Senator Jacqui Lambie declared she might not back the Morrison government's bills unless she saw action to create a stronger corruption watchdog in the wake of the revelations about the casino operator.

They're building see-saws at borders?

1) It's a million times more effective than most of the crap they do with political power.
2) Architecture is actually a proper academic discipline.

1) I think both boots on the ground, and political power are necessary to effecting change. It's just a shame that the folks who are the boots on the ground doers get so little credit most days of the week. I love what these guys did with the see-saws, whether they've got arts degrees or science degrees, or no degrees at all. They're absolutely brilliant.

2) Yes it is. Combining both art and science to create structures of function and often great beauty.

Yeah, I thought it was crap and that's why I posted it.

All science is art.

No arts degree is science.

Completely agree with Wilkie on this.
Yeah, he's right in the fact that a referral of the matter to ACLEI is a a good start, but that's all it is, a start. I'm also impressed with him calling out the culpability of those past and present politicians who also need to be held to account.

It's weird, as it almost seems like this guy actually has a bit of integrity.

Originally a whistleblower over the Iraqi intelligence gaffe.

Don't completey agree with his politics, but he's one of the few Australian politicians I will listen to with great attention.

I meet lots of Australians up here who left coz you need a permit to do everything in Australia, except voting and breeding.

Some things you should have to get a permit for.

(Those two should be among them.)
