Frampton is in a unique position, this year is his first playing as a specialist KPF, every other year on our list he has been developed as a ruckman.

Playing as our FF he has absolutely dominated SANFL all year and not put a foot wrong in his two AFL games this year.
Exactly, played 3 afl games, 5 goals, first year as a regular forward in the sanfl. Increasingly regalur bags of 4-5-6 goals..

Good news!
Bu the fact frampton wasn't included in this extension announcement has me worried we've seen the last of him at port.
But if i had to choose 2 our of those 3 young talls to retain, would choose ladhams and marshall.

Sounds like both will continue, but 1 will probs be at a different club.
Yep and it won't be The Hoff. RossFC can you give us any explanation for Ladhams spectacular improvement.
Last year he was meh. This year I couldn't get to a Magpies game for a month or so and suddenly his stats are thru' the roof.
It's obvious that he's been in the gym (hello Todd) but where has this sudden turn around come from....... Dean Brogan?

He's actually rucking instead of being put in a forward pocket for 75% of games so that's helped tenfold.

Frampton kicks 9 goals in 2 weeks at SANFL level, then 3 in a game at AFL level then goes back and kicks 10 in 2 weeks at SANFL level again.

If I see a 22 year old doing this, the last word I'd think of is "delist".

All hell will break loose if Hinkley delists him.

One thing I will say is from the get-go, I always thought Ladhams was never skinny. He had size straight away compared to other players his age which is why I rated him harshly the first couple years, also you could count his good games on 1 hand over that period of time.

Brogan surely has had a hand in his massive improvement not only is he rucking more (as Macca said) but he's rucking better, his work around the ground is better, he couldn't buy a mark before and now he's a good mark. I also think he'd be handy as a fwd/ruck too.

Ladhams was absolutely on track for delisting and then suddenly this year he's broken every ceiling anyone thought possible. Quite remarkable. Let's hope it continues.

I dont think he’ll make it, weve got Hayes coming through whos better and will demand game time next year. I dont see the room for him.

Id be ok with giving him a 1 year deal as the KPFs in this draft are the worst of all time, just not sure we will though
Surely he gets another year if he wants it.

I just hope this means we are getting Lukosius. I’d definitely understand it then.

he's rucking better,
Saw him go head to head v Slyce in our pre-season scratch match and he got the tap nearly every time.
Thanks Macca19 and RossFC maybe his improvement coincided with him moving out of home too.

PL: Biggest thing for me this year was moving out of home. I've had to grow up a bit on my own. I worked really hard on getting my body right in pre-season. It was a dream come true to be able to lead the ruck against the Bombers on the weekend.#pafclive

He's a ruckman, it's not that remarkable. Plenty of very good rucks take longer to develop than Ladhams did.

The difference is, I couldn't say "oh Ladhams will take time because he's a broomstick" He might have been when he was U18 and at Norwood, but he wasn't here.

Bit of hyperbole. Was absolutely on track for this sort of development in u17s, just fell away unexpectedly in his u18 year. I was a huge fan of his early on.

Anybody who thinks delisting or trading Framton is a good idea is a ******* moron.

After Dixon our Key Position Forward depth is:

Westhoff - proven a zillion times that he isn't a key forward and is at teh tail end of career.
Marshall - Has proven many times that he isnt a key forward, struggles as second tall at the moment.
Ryder - Is a ruckman, proven a zillion times that he isn't a key forward, most likely wont be on the list next year.
Ladhams - Young Ruckman, more of a pinch hit or resting key forward.
Lycett - Ruckman and resting forward, way too unco to be an actual key forward.
Howard - Is a backman, watch his game against GWS.

Great news! Interesting that it's coincided with their return to the AFL team as well. Port Adelaide's media team always fortunate when it comes to timing.

Would have to think that Ryder and Westhoff are in the real sunset of their careers now. Would be surprised if they both played on next year.
Westhoff will play on next year
