With him we have no chance matey. He was at Chelsea under conservative managers and was still rubbish and a liability, now at the Arsenal who play with miles between their lines, Luiz will be great comedy relief value for opposition fans and the object of derision by the same Arsenal fans who now are calling on Mrs. Palmer and her 5 daughters to bring a smile to their face.

I really do hope that I'm wrong but for heaven's sake, this Luiz joke has been rubbish for years and I can't see him suddenly becoming a van Dijk or a Laporte, a Vertonghen, an Alderweireld, Maguire, Tarkowski etc.

I’m not saying he’ll be top class, but he’s an established prem CB, Something Arsenal needed. He’ll be an automatic starter. I reckon Luiz is an upgrade on the 2018/19 Koscielny too.

I had Arsenal 5th but was REALLY close to having them 4th, but waited for the 2 defensive signings to be made.
