Its almost like the MFC are even more irreverent currently than they were back circa 2013, if thats even possible. The takeaway for me is that Melbourne have 2k less supporters than Gold Coast.

I've never seen an MCC area so sparse for a Melbourne-Collingwood match. The takeaway for me is that Melbourne have 2k less supporters than Gold Coast.

There were a few people having a go at Richmond's crowd last Saturday Night, perhaps this puts it into perspective.
I agree, Both were.Or, you know, both crowds were poor.
Or, you know, both crowds were poor.
Yep that’s a poor crowd.31,903. Even if the expected weather was ordinary. That's well unders.
Sub 20K?What's the lowest attended Friday night game at the MCG? Or in Melbourne?
Next week may go close.
Yes and no. Both crowds were poor. However I will give today’s shocker some slack. The forecast all week was for between 4-10mm rain and this a day after only reaching 10c and storms. This morning’s heavy rain a reinforcement of the shocking day ahead. So I believe the terrible forecast lead into into today’s crowd meant it would be more greatly impacted by poor weather than last Saturday nights Tigers crowd.,There were a few people having a go at Richmond's crowd last Saturday Night, perhaps this puts it into perspective.
Presumably the lowest when North v Bears got 6396 in 1992.What's the lowest attended Friday night game at the MCG? Or in Melbourne?

Not!Or that Pies have 6K less supporters than Tigers
Complete contrast to when Melbourne got at least 60,000 of their own supporters to the two MCG finals last year.
Yes, I think that’s the lowest..Presumably the lowest when North v Bears got 6396 in 1992.
Think it's more to do with Port fans disenchanted with the last 5 years of performance.29,568 at Adelaide Oval, weather has been atrocious throughout the week, port have been very unlucky this year with the weather. I count at least 5 of there home games have been rain affected.
I think both games would've been attended equally with the same circumstances.Yes and no. Both crowds were poor. However I will give today’s shocker some slack. Melbourne also has the lowest AFL reserve membership amongst the Victorian clubs.
