MVP Votes R21 vs Sydney

Can't believe the lack of recognition for Ryder. I thought he had a great game ...
Not best 5, but very good. Ladhams added the extra dimension with double the disposals. Paddy was an imposing physical presence and that counted as Sydney began to wilt, but again too many others affected the outcome more.

Ryder, Jonas, Marshall, Dixon and a couple of others could easily have gained votes. The pleasing thing was we won well despite a couple of our usual play makers having having sub par games.

SPP because his 'bull in a china shop' aggression was very effective very often in this game.

Left standing in square as FF most quarter 4 ( any injury reported ? ) Robbed him of stats .

I Love the Love DBJ is getting. I thought he had a good start to the season and now he is killing it. Amazing that this kid could be top 5 for our B&F this year. Give him a pay rise and an extension Ports.

AFL Players Ratings
I understand how Bonner got a negative game rating but not sure how Boak got one. he had 3 clangers, 1 was a free kick against him.

At half time Boak had 10 disposals and Robbie only had 8. Can't remember the last time we were 3 or 4 goals up at half time and the better side, probably should have been 5 up and these 2 players had such little impact on our position. Good signs.

Ken managing to get a vote in for his love child Ollie when not one person here had him in their votes lol.
Been doing it all year. Marshall last week, Houston early on in the year, Rozee, Broadie against the Hawks, and Hammer. Would have snuck Sutcliffe in against Brisbane if we had lost by a goal or two I reckon.

Thought I had posted the CD tables yesterday but looks like I forgot. As expected plenty of green for us and red for the swans.

I commented on our set shot kicking and that once again it was good conversion, not as good as last week, but like last week our Xscore 87was less than our Actual score 103, which is only the 4th time this year, the China game, 2nd showdown and last week.

Surprised by the free kick differential. Knew it was 11 v 7 at half time but didn't pick up it was 26 v 11 at the end of the game. We had 7 free's inside 50, I have we kicked 4.2 from 6 frees, don't know what happened from the 7th one.

Ladhams unlucky.

DBJ has gone to another level, so important across our HB line. Keep this up and will be in AA discussions next year.

Rozee had his best game. Good defensive pressure and great goals.

Houston is the missing piece for our midfield. All class, kicks goals, uses it well, good defensively.

Jonas had his best for the year. Best his opponent and set it up. That’s the TJ we want and need.

Dixon just snuck in because he presented hard, provided a strong presence and kicked three. We are a different team when he is on like that. That needs to be his minimum.

Ladhams, Marshall, Ollie and Clurey were all close.
