The results we need, and the results we want for this to happen.

Needs:
West Coast defeat Adelaide :whitecheck:
North defeat Geelong :crossmark:

Want (would be preferable but not necessary):
Port beat Sydney :whitecheck:
Freo beat St Kilda :crossmark:
Bulldogs defeat Essendon :whitecheck:

However at least 1 of Port and Freo need to win. :whitecheck:
Freo and North, you suck. Now Freo needs to win both remaining games, including beating Port in Adelaide.

North are eliminated. Now Adelaide lowest possible position is 12th.

Now to next week. Here's what we need and want for Adelaide to finish in the lowest possible position.

Round 22

Need:

Collingwood defeats Adelaide
Fremantle defeats Essendon
Port defeats North

Want:
Hawthorn defeats Gold Coast
Bulldogs defeats GWS

I must begrudgingly concede that Adelaide played very well against West Coast on the weekend, it was their best performance in a long time and I think they'll regain a bit of confidence (things like a highly-touted youngster in Fogarty having such a dominant breakout game will also give the club a bit of a boost overall).

I think if they play like that again this week they'll knock off Collingwood, who have been just going of late. We really need the Pies to step up here. COME ON COLLINGWOOD YOU CAMPAIGNERS.

If Adelaide plays well as they did against West Coast they will win their last two games and finish in seventh unfortunately.

And with the way the 5-8 sides are travelling Crows could easily win a final.
This storyline could be a late addition.

Only their own supporters really, who will remember if they beat Adelaide this week or not?

Adelaide don’t tag, so I expect their midfield to go ballistic and win easily.
I'm just not confident.

Anyway, here is the text I just sent my Collingwood associate at work:

"It would be awesome if your completely useless football team could do the right thing this weekend but sadly that is probably beyond you."

He had no idea what I was talking about lol.
