If i'm not mistake that's actually LESS than what we were offering Shiel...would be an amazing get.
Coniglio is a better player AND would cost no draft picks, vs Essendon giving up 2 x 1st rounders.
If we land Conigs, the Shiel miss would be a massive sliding doors, blessing in disguise moment.

He does, that's a relatively new narrative after a few average games - which conveniently fit in with the down period the team as a whole.Matt has no impact with disposals tho
Yeah, but are the Hawforn ITKs actually ITKs or just more arrogant supporters assuming they get all the cakes and eat them too?Still so hard to have any confidence in the Coniglio situation. Both our ITKs and Hawthorn's ITKs are super duper confident he's come to their respective clubs.
Cogs + Crouch + Martin = one of the kids probably gets squeezed sometime soon. Purely on opportunity.
Walsh, Cripps, Setterfield
Kreuzer, Crouch, Coniglio
Murphy, Curnow, Martin, SPS, Fisher, Dow, O'Brien, Stocker, Gibbons, Kennedy.
That's a lot of midfielders who'd be understandably miffed if they were missing out on selection.
Any idea what we are paying for Martin? GC will demand a first rounder I think. He is not worth that.
If we can add Crouch and Cogs I think we fix our midfield. Our biggest issue is lack of players consistently getting 25+ possessions.
A fit Harry and Charlie look out.
This was PM'd to me and the poster would like to remain anonymous:-
Papely - No chance 2 x 1 st round draft picks.
Grundy - Zero Chance.
Cameron (Darcy) - Locked In.
Martin - Locked In.
These two above will happen VERY early in the trade week.
Cogs - more and more likely still a bit to play out.
B Crouch - 65% there, for Carlton the final decision will be made by Russell and his confidence to get his body right.
The only thing is the Brad Couch tends to have its legs fall off every now and then and needs to be re-glued.
Probably just "Nash"So far today 3 of ours with good track records have checked in, how many do you guys have today?
If there's no Papley this year, I wouldn't be surprised it it's Adelaide's pick for Martin and change.
Wouldn't be surprised if we come away from the deal with a late first or early second rounder.
Free agent Coniglio.
10 and 40 for Martin and 17.
17 for Crouch.
46 for Gray and change.
Change for Cameron.
There's the 5 acquisitions that have been floated.
Always the possibility we do something with future picks instead/as well, possibly to get back into the draft.
The only thing is the Brad Couch tends to have its legs fall off every now and then and needs to be re-glued.
People said that about Rockliff when at Brisbane and about Mitchell at the Hawks but personally it doesn't bother me. An accumulators job is to win first possession and give it to a more damaging player. We have enough damaging X factor types in SPS, MM and to an extent Murphy and hopefully Cunningham to make a heavy possession player very useful.Matt has no impact with disposals tho
Even when the legs are put back on they still don't work properly. The only thing is the Brad Couch tends to have its legs fall off every now and then and needs to be re-glued.
mods - spray this gnat please...........Touchy?
Dan Howe wears #17 so that is unavailable. Cogs will be wearing #2
