My only issue is it's seems lynch or jack have to kick 2 or 3 each for us to post decent scores. I'd love our smalls and mids to get on the end if a few more

Yup i agree - for the time forward we had in the Eagles game, the goal return wasn’t good enough - Rioli i thought was working into the game after some ordinary form, i just like what Bolton offers down there. I’d like to see Short maybe play through the Castagna roll, i’d Also like to give Markov a chance in the same roll .... although granted it is now to late for too much experimentation this close to finals unfortunately ....

Disagree. The reason we have Jack and Tom is to kick their 5 odd goals between them.

I thought the significant difference in the game v West Coast compared to last year was that when we got on top we had the big dogs up forward as well. I think we would have won wet or dry as we fixed our midfield/defensive issues and then were potent up forward. Remember we scored 47 in the wet in the second half....

Good idea, let's follow protocol and drop him to the VFL for a few weeks to learn the role. Let's say 5.

I wish we had the flexibility to play Lambert as a perminent small forward. The guy is the best crumber in our team.

Short could play the Castagna role like William Shatner could play the Marlon Brando role.

Short is too slow and too weak to even dream of doing what George does. Markov is the understudy but he struggles to get a kick in the VFL.

Good tactics by the eagles imo... It's hard to tag the top line midfielders (e.g. Martin) out of the game. More likely to get a result tagging a lesser light like Lambert that is integral to the game style a team wants play.

I get what you are saying, but keep any teams key fwds goalless or close to it and they will struggle. That’s what they do, kick goals. The other thing to is we have been playing in very wet conditions of late, scores are usually lower in those conditions.

The goal return would have been fine if our set shots werent so horrendous on the weekend.
