Best scenario for me is Port first round, then go up to the Gabba where we play well then get the next two weeks at the G.

I would have thought Geelong beating Richmond week one would suit us better, then we don’t face W/C or Richmond till GF day, and we ambush them to be premiers to the tune of 53 points!

Chrissy my lad, since you had your Mick Malthouse moment already this year, and claimed we couldn't lose a game, I hope you atone with this prophecy. I'd love to beat the Cats again, but in a Qualifying Final, packed to the rafters at the 'G? Imagine the racket. Superbski!!

Exactly - we've lost a few we should have won so let's win one against the odds - rebalance the Universe.
I'll finish with footy when we have a dynasty - another 4 in a row will be sufficient thank you
 
If we finish 5th I would not want to play the Bulldogs. Essendon would be an easy kill, Port or Crows at the G would be good too

Week 1: We beat Geelong
Week 2: Well deserved rest, watching the other teams smash each other physically.
Week 3: We defeat Brisbane in the Prelim
Week 4: Revenge against the Eagles in the Grand Final

Not sure if I’d rather revenge against the Eagles, or for Buckley to get his first flag as a coach against Brisbane
 
Nothing better than beating Richmond in a granny. The match will be a spectacle. Beat Eagles somewhere along the way hopefully as well but don't believe we can do that if Richmond make the granny.

I think it's Richmonds premiership to lose now that Eagles have slipped out of the top 4. Those 2 teams in my view were head and shoulders above the rest of the comp from a talent perspective, and are relatively injury free and settled.

With the Eagles slipping its made the road to the GF much harder for them with having to play each weekend along with travel.

For us to make it to the big dance, winning week 1 is critical as otherwise we run into Richmond in the prelim - and that wont work out well for us this year.

I think we are much better equipped to face Richmond than you give us credit for. No Rance makes our life easier that is for sure. De Goey and Stephenson are both better players now as well but as you said, I would much rather beat Geelong and face off against Richmond in the GF as opposed to playing Richmond in a prelim.
 
We shouldn’t be afraid to play anyone.
Barring no more injuries we have the team to beat anyone, just a question of bringing our best over the next 5 weeks
 
rather not make the Grand Final, like lose in the Prelim.... than lose to Richmond in the GF... yes, its much worse. Colliwobbles against a rival like Tigers.

Its like losing to Carlton. Tigers and Blues are the two teams I would never want to lose to in a Grand Final situation.... I can only imagine the 1980 scenario... must have been suicide fuel

Of course would rather win. But if I was offered a scenario out of Collingwood losing in the prelim or making the GF but losing to Tigers... I take the former 10/10

Haven't checked the brackets but Bulldogs are very hot at the moment. Looking like their 2016 premiership team.... Would not want to face them to be honest. I think they are a good chance to knock a top 4 team out in the second week.
 
The ladder predictor on the AFL site seems broken. Not giving correct matchups for second week of finals when you enter your predicted results.

This has a nice ring too it.... 10+ goals so iwe can sit back and enjoy the last 1/4 as premiers!

The other is beating Richmond with a free kick and goal after the siren, Treloar obviously the man who wins it for us!

Happy to take either outcome.
