UEFA Europa League 2019/20

AC Milan have reportedly asked to be kicked out of the Europa League for breaching Financial Fair Play.

They’ve breached FFP rules in each of the last two seasons, with UEFA already suspending proceedings against them until after their ongoing appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport from last season has been resolved.

Chief executive Ivan Gazidis has asked for the club to be suspended from next season’s Europa League so it gives them more time to balance the books.

Corriere della Sera reports Milan have asked for an ‘all-inclusive’ punishment that covers the two three-year periods - 2014-17 and 2015-18.

But if they are suspended, it would allow them to spend big again this summer.

Torino are on standby to take their place.

Interesting that Torino are only in as AC Milan failed in their Financial Fair Play obligations. An AC vs Wolves game in the playoffs for Europa League shows how far Wolves have improved and AC have fallen.

Only via financial mis-management....They'll still smash ya's

Torino/Wolves is clearly the tie of the round on a sporting level but Feyenoord/Hapoel (far right ultras vs far left Jews) and AEK/Trabzonspor (Greece vs Turkey) look like massive cluster*s in the making.
