I'm hoping b.smith moves onto the wing next year

Would be a waste IMO.
He's a centre square mid who can stand up in a tackle and can switch forward. Pure wingers cover extraordinary ground and are good at not getting sucked into the contest. We need a specialist to pair with Hunter. Hayes covers the right amount of ground but still has question marks.

I like the move that Brisbane have made by shifting Robinson onto a wing.
I think wingers need more of a hard edge now more so then ever before.

Regardless of the Naughton injury, I think this game speaks volumes of our lack of KPF depth.

Anyone who thought the style of game that Schache dishes up was going to be successful in finals are deluded.

They already said ligament damage, it's simply a matter of how bad. Unless they're dead wrong, at the very least he'll miss the first month or two of the season

Depends on the ligament. If it's lateral he will be back before Christmas

If it's an LCL as Maple said then it's a 6 week injury. I know losing a final sucks but please hold off on being a complete nuff until we get confirmation of the injury.

I dont see how anyone could come away from todays game thinking we shouldnt add martin and at least another small up forward. We got nothing out of our mid sized forwards once the ball hit the ground and mclean was the only real tackling threat i could see.

We also need another contested marking forward to stop the ball getting to the deck. Bruce should be a lock, get a future third & fourth coming back to even it up.

Martin would also deliver the ball better and allow us to hit more targets inside fifty. Definitely a must.
