Footscray will meet Port Melbourne on Saturday at 11.40am, and Essendon will face Werribee on Sunday at 2.10pm.

In the VFL Women’s, Melbourne Uni and Western Bulldogs both survived elimination finals across the weekend and will meet the qualifying teams Collingwood and Southern Saints in semi-final clashes. Western Bulldogs held on in the final term to defeat Richmond, earning a spot against ladder-leaders Collingwood on Saturday at 2.40pm, while Melbourne Uni will meet the Southern Saints on Sunday at 11.45am.

A few of the AFLW girls were really impressive. Greiser with 4 goals. Karlson and Kuys were pretty good down back. Mackie fantastic in the middle.
Emma Kearney wasn't too pleased when she was outmarked by her opposing captain/girlfriend Shierlaw. Really good game. Tough task next week against Collingwood, they looked really great through the middle last week. Chloe Molloy, Britt Bonicci, Sharni Layton and Jaimee Lambert seemed to really get on top of the saints girls.
