"Joe's obviously got to make his mind up himself," Zac Merrett said on Wednesday.
"I think he's made it pretty clear that he's going to have a bit of time away and decide what he wants to do with his footy going forward.
The club's fully supportive of Joe and whatever he does and I hope that he's hopefully at Essendon next year."

Crouch brothers a proven consistent players. It would be like trading Merrett for Keath.
A handful of good games in 4 years doesn't equal a Crouch.
Now that Francis is starting to show what he's capable of we should let him go for peanuts?

Congrats Bill you’re right, we wouldn’t get a Crouch for Francis. However it’s no crazier than saying Francis is only worth Jenkins + a 13 pick upgrade in the 2nd/3rd round.
It wouldn't be a straight swap picks included vice versa.
