Has there been a precedent for something like this? Sample tampering sounds like it'd warrant a seriously long ban if found guilty
Sounds a bit like the Whitfield thing.

ASADA has alleged Rioli used a prohibited method to provide a sample for the test. <-- why not come out and mention that method? no it suits the VFL to have the Eagles rocked badly on the eve of a big game.

WCE club statement: https://www.westcoasteagles.com.au/sites/WestCoastEagles/news/2019-09-12/club-statement-willie-rioli

The West Coast Eagles have been made aware that Willie Rioli is the subject of an ASADA and AFL investigation.

The club is extremely disappointed that one of our players has been provisionally suspended while a matter is being investigated and it will comply fully and openly with ASADA and the AFL through the process.

The club is fully committed to supporting Willie during what is a personally distressing time.

Our primary concern is Willie’s health and welfare.

As this is an on-going investigation the club, its staff and players can make no further comment until the investigation is completed.

The West Coast Eagles fully supports the AFL and ASADA in its ideal of our game being drug free.

That's written as though they're disappointed he's been suspended?

Like he's clearly done something wrong and you expect him to be able to play? JFC guys

There was a bloke in Melbourne selling a range of products designed to get professional athletes off positive drug tests. Things like urine pouches, diuretics etc. Got shut down after a while but i'm sure there are more like him out there.
