probably not as good as mgla, but still decent, half way through ‘lost in liminal’ now

yeah, like mgla the cymbal work is crazy goodNice one to relax to IMO. Tune out and listen to the drumming.
Love that album, drumming definitely is supreme on it.
Kriegsmaschine probably 'saves' Mgla. They get the experimental and more dissonant stuff out of their system while Mgla remains straight up and bleak.
If jooceman wants to continue down the black metal rabbit hole then give this a whirl. It's my album of the year. Similarities to Mgla but a bit more guitar than drums and a little more melodic. Mgla easily still my favourite BM band of modern times but this album is an absolute ripper.
Was like he was given a free license to experiment and they wrote the rest of the music around the druming.
love finding new bands to listen to, i've only ever been into thrash/power/and heavy metal i never really touched black or death besides some cannibal corpse. but saying that i've been into metal since i can rememberlove the youngblood soaking in all the metal here
so hoping they come outGot the new Hammerfall today. Hope track 8 is a Deicide cover.
