I did wonder myself at first, but then Dravid's In posted that they were doing another meet and greet in Launceston tonight, so it sounds legit.

And nothing the poster mentioned they said was anything scandalous or important enough to be kept a secret....was all interesting but generic stuff that you can imagine they would say in a conversation with fans at an organised event.

Hey Siegfried, well picked up mate.
When I read that post I did wondered to myself. These guys of ours in a pub in Tassie shooting the **** with the natives. Yea, Nah.....
Most of the chat has already largely been put out there and this post conveniently pulled it all together plus a bit of innocuous icing.
Call me a cynic.... but I am going to call BS
Hey Healer, I've got better things to do than go to the trouble of setting up an account to pull a few stories together to create a BS post just to chase some likes. Like I said I am a long time reader and I appeciate the info that people share here, unfortunatly I am far from ITK and have little to offer in this regard but these were a few things that i took from the night that I thought others might also find interesting.

Thanks for the post BlueVision

I assume that the info came from either Cripps, Murph or Charlie considering they are down your way at the moment?

They are doing another meet and greet in Launceston tonight, so hopefully we get a report from someone who was in attendance.

Yeah I had a good chat to Murph...outstanding bloke, who is actually tagging along with SOS & Agresta in the list management meetings as he has an interest of possibly doing something like that after football.

Something I forgot to add, he also mentioned or confirmed what we already know & that is:

* The last few seasons SOS has struggled to get players interested in coming to our club.....this season SOS has been taking a lot of calls from player agents wishing to enquire about joining the Blues.

* Reports of Crows players contacting Teague about coming over next season after we played them were spot on.

Your comment is BS....original poster is spot on, no wonder poster are hesitant to post.

Murphy, Charlie & Cripps did two shows in Tassie Friday & Saturday night, maybe think before you post crap yourself & have some respect for others.

Certainly legit Crippa & Charlie both said Weits BOG also joked that Charlie found it hard as he had to talk over there😂.

Crippa also chatted about playing on taggers and is really looking forward to next game against Deboer.
Murphy very non committed when asked about Daisy being unlucky to not get another contract, I took it that Daisy may not be as popular as many assumed.
Crippa said we have nothing to worry about re moving home as would of went last year if he was leaving.
Murphy very positive on Stocker
Crippa big wraps on TDK & Marchy
Murphy also hopes Eddie comes home
All three ripping guys and found Charlie to be an awesome guy and seemed humbled that people were buying his memorabilia in the auction (I grabbed one of his signed jumpers)
I don't subscribe to the idea that Daisy was so unpopular at the club. The only place I have seen that suggestion is here on this board and has been pushed by people who haven't been shy to take the opportunity to pot him consistently for years.

As far as Murphy being non committal on the issue goes realistically he can hardly come out publically and express a strong opinion on a club list management decision, even if he disagreed with it ( Not saying he disagreed as I dont know just like nobody else here does). If I recall correctly Murphy was one of the two players who chaired him off the ground after his last game, doubt he does that if he has no time for him.

Cant have been big issues with him at the club imo, he has been around the other players since the end of the season including their father's day event. I'm sure there would be some who didn't like him but not everyone on any playing list is going to like every one of their teammates.

Hi Guys,

Long time reader, first time poster, not sure if it has been mentioned on here yet or not but Crippa, Murph & Charlie made an appearance at my local pub in Tassie last night, just thought I would share some things that were said

Crippa confirmed that Jack Martin has nominated that he wants to be at Carlton next year, also said that he was the best junior that he has seen.

All 3 mentioned Papley a few times without being prompted, sounded very promising.

Murph said that the club will persist with SPS down back, this was part of the reason for Daisey not getting a contract along with the returns of Doc and Willow down there.

Regarding Betts Murph said where there's smoke there's fire and would love to have him back, also said that it was the biggest list management mistake the club has made letting him go in the first place.

Crippa said that we have not seen the best out of Marchbank yet and will be a gun, also is excited to see TDK develop as a genuine RUCK.

Was also nice to hear that Weitering was BOG on their recent trip to Mykonos

Murph sounds keen to go on for a few more years to try and chase the fairy tale ending ala Shane Crawford.

Promising times ahead, Go Blues!

Welcome

People are always sceptical about newbies posting rumours/information first up.

Hang around, contribute, enjoy

No need to defend yourself mate. All good. :thumbsu: :carlton:

They could all play in the same team

Agreed and I think there's also room for one of McGovern or Marchbank, mind you it's not too often that all of them are available for selection at the same time.

There is enough speed, mobility, grunt in that group of talls, McKay, Jones, Charlie, McGovern, Levi, Krooz, Marchbank

Just have to look at the talls that played last night for GWS. Davis, Corr, Taylor, Mummy, Finlayson, Tomlinson, Cameron, Himmelberg

I was told mid year Daisy had a poor attitude, as if he didn't care anymore and that the club were not happy with him. This was after drinking heavily at a function.

What happened at that function was clearly not good but for someone who didn't care he played very good football this year, probably his best season with us.

It would seem that there was a turn-around in attitude after the change in coach.
But clearly that wasn't enough to get another contract.
