He may as well blame it on being indigenous.
It's Mabo. It's the Constitution. It's the vibe.

There are provisions that allow for expedited hearings at the request of the defendant, however WCE/Willie have decided that isn't what it is best here. If I was in Willie's shoes, I would want it dealt with sooner rather than later. Dragging it on longer than is necessary is what would have an impact on my mental health and wellbeing.
Only benefit I see is if it goes on until March/April next year they can turn around and say he has already served a 6-7 month suspension through his provisional ban, so should get time served.
I can see both a 2 year ban, and a 6 month long investigation, being about middle ground for expectations.I would rather they suspend him for 2 years or something now than dribble along for 6 months waiting.
Since the whole Rioli thing i am still in disbelief that it has happened. With Willie likely to experience 2 to 4 year ban I suspect he won't have the motivation to play even after his ban is over.
It is now a question of effective Liam Ryan will be without his sidekick and the fact that we might be less damaging in the forward half.
I just can't help getting the feeling that the onfield performances will suffer as a result, so Adam Simpson's challenge will be to keep his men motivated and focused on 2020.
Like something straight out of the Advertiser over here
I believe he will be unable to train and play in any sport/team that comes under the auspices of WADA.
Non WADA trainers!I believe he will be unable to train and play in any sport/team that comes under the auspices of WADA.
Get him a personal trainer and diet plan to keep him in check
One would like to think so, they are a pragmatic organisation after all.Quietly hoping for another AFL "Quirk" that will somehow see Rioli back in a convenient time frame.
Even if he did have the motivation, it won't happen. You can't come back from 2 years of not playing a single game and being on the tail end of 26.Since the whole Rioli thing i am still in disbelief that it has happened. Sounds like we are all layers and magistrates or it is just common sense overflow ??!!
Cyril might look like two Riolis by now.One Cyril Rioli could be that man. He is up there, and when this s**t is sorted, bring him on down too. Always room for 2 Riolis in a team.
Anything less than two years and ASADA will appeal you'd think. Cant see him still being on our list unfortunately when the dust settles. A very moronic moment from one of our most talented players.Quietly hoping for another AFL "Quirk" that will somehow see Rioli back in a convenient time frame.
We don't even know his version of the events or the chaperones yet. Just a guess from the West AustralianCant see him still being on our list unfortunately when the dust settles. A very moronic moment from one of our most talented players.
I'm down to hoping Willie's legal team find some sort of procedural loophole.
I think he is going to wear 2-4 years out on face value of the released info.
thats what they call journalism these daysWe don't even know his version of the events or the chaperones yet. Just a guess from the West Australian
