Again not that impressed. Not interested in GFs unless they have Geelong in them.
No, but it's as nice thing to have all the same. That one day in September he gets in every year with premium seating for nix. Tickets are a premium expense.

I started the GF hoping GWS would snuff the Tigers out.
Finished off thinking well done Richmond.
Forget their horrible fans, the players are committed and devoted to each other and the colours they wear.
I like a lot of their players, and even think better of Dusty after that performance.
He's a bogan, but he's a team oriented bogan and he has performed when needed.
Watching them waiting for every team member and sundry to join the circle for the song was informative.
I'd like to hope Geelong has the same camaraderie at least building within the inner circle.

Good post, yeh i would agree with all that there. Except i knew GWS wasnt gonna do s**t.

Don't you love the media trying to create a story out of not much and then putting their "get out" clause deep into the article where it may not be read by all. Case in point:

The Herald Sun reports Greene is estranged from his father and hasn’t had a relationship with him for years. The Giants said they would not be commenting.

Found well after the following headline & Tweet intro

Greene's dad was being escorted out of the ground when he head butted a female police officer - so he's been arrested for that

It's only when you get well into the article it mentions the 2 are estranged - so potentially doubtful that Greene knew or cared his dad was there

Media trying to make a bigger story than they need to make - man arrested for head butting police officer is surely a good enough headline

How good is Prestia - i know everyone raves about Martin - but if i was picking one out of their team - Prestia would be a close 2nd - his game last week in the 2nd half 0f the PF was similar to Mitchell in the 13 PF - crucial to their team getting over the line

Dont know how many games he has played for Richmond - but if he keeps playing the way he is - well i think Dale Weightman is in their team of the century but Prestia is just so much better

If Martin is their only ego, it further proves how far they have come, because he is anything but ego. He is the outstanding player in the comp, and is capable of a third NS. But your post is spot on. They ALL play for each other and talk about being blood brothers. Something happened down there pre 2017 and it has completely galvanised them.

I say ego in terms of he never chases and always calls for the ball.
Dusty plays for Dusty, however unlike the Cats and Danger playing for Danger, we don't have 21 others players willing to cover the slight negative and enhance the vast positive having that kind of player can generate.
The tigers team gets the best out of Martin, Cats do not when it comes to Danger.

He plays for the team, brings others into the game and into goals, always looking for good options. Danger wants to do it all himself, and often succeeds, but in footy terms, is not as smart as Dusty.

That's a little naive - if a reporter wrote up this story without any mention of the family connection, they would be sacked.
