Why is Mark a better option than Carl? CEO of Richmond 2000-2004, CEO of AFLCA.

Nothing particularly compelling in his resume.
Carl must have had a few things against him, in the eyes of Buckley, and that may well be correct. But Mark Brayshaw is a questionable choice for sure. I'd prefer someone completely fresh.

Also tried to find more info on him and it's pretty scant. Worked at Freo and Port in their marketing department after the Richmond gig.

You could probably argue the AFLCA has come on a bit in recent times.

Interesting choice for sure.

Still confused what Mark Brayshaw has demonstrated to be hot property. CEO of the coaches association, meh. CEO at Richmond when they were a basket case. Meh. Board member who oversaw Brad given close to life tenure.

Must be missing something.
Yeah. It's a Bhoys Club. :stern look

Your not missing anything Li ke trying to attract good players but fail every time same goes for administrators time to think outside the circle how about 2 names
1:Jason Dunstall - The man who had the vision to get the best coach of the last 20 years to his club.
2: John Ribot - Ex NRL administrator that started Melbourne Storm off set them up to be one of the best sporting clubs in Australia.
As at this moment in time there are only 3 current AFL administrators that could do the job and we will have NO CHANCE of landing any of them.
1: Brendon Gale.
2: Brian Cook.
3: Trevor Nisbett

Caught up with Clement last weekend, he said he had not even spoken to Freo!
Is being a CEO of Fishing distribution business a strong enough credential for an AFL club CEO role?
