From SEN Radio this afternoon - Essendon(*) showing interest in Andrew Phillips. Apparently only has been offered one year deal, and wants more.

If I was Andrew Phillips, I'd take that offer. The last time Tom Bellchambers played a full season, will be the next time and he's not a lock to come back in like Kreuzer is. If Phillips has ambition to be a Number 1, then * is the place to go. Probably good news for Levi if that happens.

I'm fairly confident TDK is the next Number 1 at Carlton and I think that's probably the club's opinion as well.

Takes a grab occasionally and is a decent tap ruck but doesn't get on the park too much and has minimal effect around the ground? A trade involving that guy, a quality KPF and a small forward that everyone would slot in their best 22? Not sure Phillips has the currency needed for that...
