Oh and for the record, I don't think we choked in 2017. I think we underestimated just how good Richmond were. The last few years have demonstrated that. Again another indication as to the poor decision making by Burton etc... around the camp. They decided the GF loss was the players fault and needed 'toughening up' mentally. In fact, Richmond were just too good. It's that simple.
To think that it was entirely our fault gave no credit to Richmond.
To think that we could just roll it back with the same team for the next 2 years and then win it again showed zero respect to Richmond.
It just showed how arrogant we were.

I know Hawks have been the modern template but given the cultural issues we should be targeting a coach/panel with recent experience at a club with massive successful cultural turnaround: Richmond, Collingwood, even Glenelg.

There’s plenty of people that think it’s all a massive beat up and or the players should harden up.
Given the performances put in by those who have a football background and had got a full pre-season in, he was probably a bit unlucky.
When fit and firing he's comfortably in our top 10 IMO.
Didn't someone mention here that the review found the club lacking in opposition analysis?

Agree Pick 28 is the right one.
Bulldogs have great draft prospects next year so this is their year for mature players. They will pay up for them.
Pick 13 becomes pick 14 so valuing Bruce @ 21 and Keath 28 would allow Dogs to do a late pick swap with Saints or send an extra pick in the 50's to the Saints and still have some change.

the problem with the camp is Some players were offended, some were not, others were offended by some who were offended by something they deemed inoffensive.. this offended others.
This is how the "Divide" formed. we all walk a razors edge in this respect now. Those responsible for the make up of the camp did not take into consideration the lowest denominator.

No they should not.
If the club did something to offend them, someone should be held accountable. It is their right to speak up and make sure their wellbeing is being met.
They have ever right, just like you or I do to air any workplace grievances they face. Sweeping it under the carper only makes things worse and gives people power to continue with this nonsensical behaviour.

All depends on who we are targeting with our first pick. If it's someone who is likely to still be there at pick 8 or 9 then they may do it. If we are after one of the top 5 guys then no way we split it.

That is definitely a fair point mate
Normally I would agree. BUT we need this aired so that the club HAVE to act on it. Saying nothing and letting the club continue to pretend it didn't have an impact and letting those responsible escape scrutiny is the worst that can happen for the AFC.
