Without seeing the final field I'd say I'll be backing MDG for my big collect on the day and a saver on Finche - doubt I will even consider anything else but will see which internationals actually accept.

Already on Finche (67s), MDG (15s) and Constantinople (20s) pre post and they're still the 3 I like so not sure I'll get involved anymore on the race. Might get a bit more involved in doubles and trebles through all the Japs in the features but that's about it

Mirage Dancer probably next best

You would be extremely disappointed if one of those didn't take it out in what looks a complete camel fest outside them.

Mirage Dancer a chance at his best but haven't seen for over 12 months and has been on a solid downward spiral since then and zero chance Busuttin has improved it. I reckon V&D will beat it home.

Looks like someone didn't watch the George Main - awkward :$
What are you referring to? Avi throwing enough darts he beat Samadoubt? Dreamforce really franked that form... or VE 2nd up over unsuitable dist? VE deserves a crack at the Cox. To suggest a ballot out is just bizarre. Good warm-up for her for the Emirates/McKinnon whatever the 2000m Flemington race is called this year.

VE could not win any of those races if she started now - Matriach at best

So many are going to accept - who else are you going to ballot out?

Do you expect MDG to go out on the day? Surely it firms over the course of the week. Still $8 around some places.

It should firm but look at COGH - was out to $35 15 minutes before the jump on Saturday so who knows.

Kings Will Dream not accepting

So True Self might get a run. I backed it in the Slowbor and it gave a great sight in the wrong part of the track and travelled into the race beautifully. Its worth a nibble at $51 (all in) on the TAB - with the standard double into LG of course.

Thats enough for me to have a nibble. Lads have got True Self at $67/18, it's as low as $31 with Sportsbet
