If our future third is around pick 45 and their future fourth is around 65 which is probably fair, according to points the surplus is equivalent to about pick 15

Haha will be interesting. I thought the trade we knocked back the other day was pretty fair for all. Looks like we are adamant 13 isn't involved. I personally think Bruce is a pick somewhere between 20-26. 32 under 13 overs so no idea how this plays out now

In reality, I'm thinking we first offered 6 & next year's 3rd for Hill.

Eventually they took 10 & next year's second.

Whichever way you cut it, Bell's posturing enabled us to get Dougal.

I very highly doubt Port would've accepted a 2nd round pick (even though that's what the points equivalent add up to) as it didn't fit in their visual demands of a "1st round" which they put out in their statement late last week when Doogs initially nominated.
