Yep, surely the saints want more than 46 for him. Also 46 is worth quite a lot to us (as our only real selection in the draft).

I'd guess if it were us it would be for a future 3rd (ours or geelongs) - but I wouldn't have thought the Saints would have any interest in that...

unless the Masten to Freo rumors are true and he can be the steak knives now (prior to having choice as a DFA). (i.e. 3-way trade as part of the Hill trade)

I don’t think he is so I’d be reluctant to give up much more than 46

I wouldn't give 46 for Acres and miss out on a potential Worpel. He'd probably win our WAFL B&F though.

If we could fit him into the salary cap and St Kilda are willing to let him go i'd happily pay 46+geelongs future 3rd. If you then look at all of our lines on the field we have great depth coverage. Imagine along the lines of having Hutchings, Acres and Ah Chee all pushing our mids to perform at their absolute best.

I have the same in's and outs but these as well Hutchings and Schofield out for Rotham and Cole. Nelson to tag/play seventh defender.

Forgot Venables. Simmo rates him big time and he's already a Premiership player. Almost a new recruit.

Last year Essendon and Dodoro played hardball with the Shiel trade to the point it went to the last minutes of the trade period and they still ended up paying top dollar. This year, no-one has nominated to go to Essendon.
